City of La Mirada - NEW Business License Application

                                                   What you need to know to get started.


1.  Business licenses are renewed on a calendar year basis. 

2.  Business start date is the first date your business started in the City of La Mirada. 

3.  If the business is located in the City of La Mirada you must also file a zoning application with the 
Planning department. The application is available on the City's website.

If applying for a home based business, you will need to complete the home occupation permit and the zoning application. 
The application is available on the City's website.

4.  Payment will not be required until your application has been accepted. You will receive an email verifying the receipt of application. 

5.  When application is approved, you will receive an email with the amount due and payment instructions. 

6.  You will have to schedule a building inspection to finalize the business license process.
